UNMARA is the brand under which the project is developed and presented. It is not, at this time, a separate legal entity.

Data We Collect
At the current stage, the Website is a landing page with a voluntary waitlist. The only personal data intentionally requested through the waitlist form is:
Email address
You are not required to create an account or provide your name, telephone number, payment information, or other personal information to join the waitlist.
The Website and its infrastructure may also process limited technical information automatically generated when a website is accessed, such as information necessary for delivery, security, abuse prevention, and reliable operation. Such processing may be carried out by infrastructure and hosting providers used by UNMARA.
UNMARA does not intentionally request special categories of personal data through the waitlist.

How We Collect It
Your email address is collected when you voluntarily submit it through the waitlist form on the Website.
The waitlist record is stored using Supabase. An automated confirmation email may be sent through Resend after a successful waitlist submission.

Purposes of Processing
We process your email address for the following limited purposes:
To register and manage your request to join the UNMARA waitlist.
To send an automated confirmation that your request was received.
To notify you when UNMARA becomes available.
To communicate with you when reasonably necessary to administer your waitlist request.
To protect the Website and waitlist against abuse, fraud, or technical misuse.
Your email address is not sold, rented, or used to create an advertising profile.
Joining the waitlist does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive unrelated promotional or marketing emails.
If we later wish to use your email address for separate promotional purposes, we will provide the information and obtain the consent required by applicable law before carrying out such processing.

Legal Basis
For the current waitlist, we rely on your voluntary request to join the list and, where applicable, your consent to the processing described at the point of collection.
Where consent is the applicable legal basis, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us at:

Where processing is necessary for security, fraud prevention, technical operation, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, another lawful basis may apply as permitted by applicable law.

Service Providers
UNMARA uses third-party service providers to operate the Website and waitlist. These providers may process personal data on UNMARA's behalf where necessary to provide their services.
Supabase
Supabase provides database infrastructure used to store the UNMARA waitlist and related data.
Resend
Resend is used to deliver automated email messages relating to the UNMARA waitlist.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare provides infrastructure, DNS, delivery, and security services for the Website. Technical information may be processed by Cloudflare as necessary to provide and secure those services.
We may add or replace service providers where reasonably necessary to operate UNMARA. Where required by applicable law, material changes to the processing described here will be reflected in an updated version of this Privacy Policy.

International Transfers
Some service providers used by UNMARA may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Resend states that customer data is stored in the United States and that its DPA includes Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EU to the United States. Resend also states that it participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Supabase's current DPA also provides for the use of EU Standard Contractual Clauses for applicable international transfers.
Where required by applicable data protection law, UNMARA will use an appropriate transfer mechanism and safeguards for transfers of personal data outside the EEA.

Data Retention
We retain your waitlist email address only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
We currently intend to retain waitlist addresses while the waitlist is active, through the launch period, and for the limited period reasonably necessary to complete launch-related communications and administration.
We may delete or anonymise an address earlier where it is no longer necessary for the stated purposes or where you validly request deletion or withdraw applicable consent.
Certain technical or transactional records may be retained for longer where required for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, accounting, legal obligations, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

Subject to the conditions and limitations provided by applicable law, you may have the right to:
Obtain confirmation as to whether your personal data is being processed.
Request access to your personal data.
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Request deletion of your personal data.
Request restriction of processing.
Object to processing where the applicable legal conditions are met.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

The current waitlist does not involve automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Website, the waitlist, the services used by UNMARA, our processing activities, or applicable law changes.
The latest version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be changed accordingly.
